AJEROMI GENERAL HOSPITAL one of the 24 hospitals under the Management of Lagos State Health Service Commission Lagos State Ministry of Health was established in April 1983, by the administration of Alhaji L. K.Jakande, as a health centre to provide basic healthcare services to the immediate community and its environs. To provide secondary healthcare it was up graded to a secondary facility, i. e. General hospital, on 12th march, 2004 during the tenure of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The catchment areas include Ajeromi/Ifelodun local government area, Ifelodun LCDA and Amuwo Odofin LCDA, with about 2.8million population. However, patients often come from areas outside the catchment coverage, like Ojo, Iyana Iba , Okokomaiko, Ijanikin, Agbara and sometimes as far as Otta, Ado odo, Igbesa, Attan, in Ogun state.
We provide 24-hour emergency, Blood bank, Medical, surgical, dental, gynecological services etc. We will continuously update our human resources through training, research and deploying state-of-the-art equipment to enable our staff to continually fulfill our standards.
